In 2016, Seward Refrigeration designed and commissioned a two stage pumped ammonia system in South America.

The plant was installed by sites local refrigeration contractor and the system feeds a -20 automated Coldstore, 115m long x 20m wide x 32 metres high, including holding chill areas. 

Our Contracts director is currently on site carrying out a maintenance visit on the plant, to ensure the system is operating at peak performance prior to their busy production schedule soon approaching.

It was great to be part of this prestigious installation project. Seward Refrigeration were awarded the installation contract to upgrade the existing ammonia / glycol plant feeding a new blast chilling tunnel and evaporators in chilled areas.
