Brian Seward
Managing Director 
Brian began his career as an apprentice engineer at Rock Refrigeration Ltd in 1974. Brian serviced, maintained, installed and commissioned, light / heavy  commercial systems & Industrial refrigeration plants throughout the UK. In 1987, Brian was promoted to Service manager, and was responsible for the day to day running of the service and maintenance division, providing customers with vital technical support, including refrigeration plant design for light / heavy commercial systems for new installation contracts. Rock Refrigeration Ltd was then acquired by the Beales Hunter Group, with Bob Seward remaining as managing director for the first three years. He was succeeded by Brian, who dedicated himself to the role before he took the step of forming the present company, Seward Refrigeration Limited, in 1993. Brian has over 40 years' experience within the Commercial & Industrial refrigeration Industry, covering all aspects of trouble shooting & diagnosing plant issues, Sales, commercial and Industrial refrigeration plant design, installation, commissioning and aftersales service throughout the UK and worldwide.

Bob Seward
Technical Consultant/Director 
Bob began his career with the merchant navy as a junior refrigeration engineer in 1955. Bob then joined Industrial cooling equipment in 1961 as a refrigeration engineer, before launching Rock Refrigeration Limited with two business partners in 1966. The business quickly established a strong reputation for reliability and trustworthiness within the industrial and commercial refrigeration sectors. Over subsequent years, Bob purchased the shares of the two original partners, leaving him the sole owner of Rock Refrigeration Limited. The company was then acquired by the Beales Hunter Group, with Bob remaining as managing director for three years. Bob then joined Seward Refrigeration Ltd as Technical director for our installation contracts division, designing Industrial plants for new and existing clients. He currently provides technical consultancy services for a worldwide Blue Chip food manufacturing company, throughout the UK and Worldwide. Bob has over 60 year’s experience within the Commercial & Industrial refrigeration Industry, covering all aspects of trouble shooting & diagnosing plant issues, sales, commercial and Industrial refrigeration plant design, installation, commissioning and aftersales service.

Ross Seward
Contracts Director
Ross joined our engineer apprenteship scheme in 2001, training to become a fully qualified Industrial Refrigeration engineer, and completed an NVQ level 3 in refrigeration and Air conditioning at Openshaw college in Manchester. Since joining the company Ross has serviced, maintained, installed and commissioned commercial and Industrial refrigeration systems throughout the UK. Since 2011 he has Project managed, commissioned and assisted in the design of large industrial ammonia plants for our clients in the UK and worldwide, including Argentina, Canada, China and India. Ross also has an integral part in the controls aspect, designing control strategies, and programming & commissioning the PLC’s required to operate the plants we design and install. Ross was promoted to Contracts Director in November 2015, and made a company shareholder in October 2019.

Leigh Seward
Design and Sales Director
Leigh joined the business in 2007, training to become a Design engineer for our Installation contracts division. Leigh has over 12 year’s experience in Sales, Refrigeration plant design, devising system control strategies and project management. Leigh has tendered, secured, designed, and project managed, installation projects ranging from small commercial systems to large Industrial ammonia plants, for existing and new clients throughout the UK. Leigh studied at the Grimsby Institute between 2007-2009 and was awarded an HND qualification in mechanical engineering. The course modules included; Analytical methods for engineers, Engineering science, Fluid mechanics, Heat transfer, Mechanical principles, Refrigeration & air conditioning, Refrigeration Design and Thermodynamics. Leigh was promoted to Design and Sales Director in November 2015, and made a company shareholder in October 2019.

Graham Jackson
Service Director
Graham has over 30 years’ experience in the refrigeration service and maintenance sector. He began his career at Rock Refrigeration in 1987 and following the subsequent mergers with Beales Hunter Group, Sabroe and then York Refrigeration, Graham made the move to join us in 2001. With assistance from our service co-ordinator Hayley Waterman, and Business Development Manager, David Nicholson, Graham is responsible for the day to day running of our service and maintenance operations, providing our customers with vital support.

David Nicholson
Business Development Manager
David has over 21 year’s experience in service and maintenance management within the Industrial refrigeration sector and joined our company in 2016. David works closely with our current and future clients developing refrigeration planned service & Maintenance agreements which meet their needs whilst ensuring optimal plant performance and legislative compliance.

Phil Morris
Health and Safety Manager
Phil has been our Health & Safety manager for over 21 years. Phillips responsibilities include developing and managing the Company Policies and Waste Management in accordance with current regulations, carrying out risk assessments and writing safe systems of work, preparing engineer advisory documents including COSHH assessments, recording and reporting accidents, carrying out internal investigations with the aim to prevent further accidents occurring, training arrangements and sub-contractor vetting.

Jenny Hatfield (BSc, ACCA)
Finance Manager
Jenny has worked within the finance industry for over 15 years and qualified as an accountant in 2009 (ACCA). Jenny joined Seward Refrigeration in 2017 and oversees the finance and HR aspects of the business. Her main roles within the Company include the management of the finance and administration team, the production of financial reports, and operating the VAT, CIS and payroll schemes. Jenny is also responsible for HR, working closely with all staff members and ensuring that our Company is compliant with the relevant legislation.
